The first sunday

This marks the first weekend I'm not home. Since I've joined this job I go home on each weekend. It feels quite strange to be here in the room of hostel with a laptop and other stuff around. It has happened this week that almost all the teachers headed to their families. In my quarter, there's none other than me.

Loneliness has a lot to say and to teach us. Sometimes, lonely, we ponder over very minute things and issues that are overlooked normally. In my case I came to know a great deal about web designing using html. Months ago I had made a blog; but, I couldn't keep on updating my blog due to certain issues. But last night when I was reading someone's blog I logged into my account and deliberated on certain things regarding design and templates of the blog. Suddenly the idea to google about these things struck my mind. While googling and searching for videos on youtube, I decided to make some changes in the format of the blog. So, while surfing, I came across many astonishing facts that I was unaware of. I applied some changes on my blog and it posed a brand new look! At that moment I was feeling very happy.

The first Sunday provided me exposure to learn something new that I ever aspired for. As a result, I decided to regularly update my blog; in which I'd share my feelings, experiences, grief, happiness, and above all my interaction with my surroundings. Let me gather something new to write on... :-))))

Back to classes...

After one-week boycott classes started with full swing. Although the presence of students was not satisfactory yet soon it will be better. It feels a bit difficult to get up early in the morning to leave for university after one week holidays.

Let us talk about the boycott. Actually it was not a boycott but a self leave made by a group of students who have their own, in other words illegal demands, for which they try to harras the students and warn them of attending classes. The most striking and amazing thing is that they show themselves leaders of student politics. I say, if this is politics then hats off for those holding the reigns and backing such elements who deteriorate the environment for nothing except their own benefit.

I strongly condemn this action in which a group of students make captive a number of students and don't allow them to attend classes. It become more shameful when they involve politics into the issue for their own well being. Above all, one becomes very tense when no action is taken against those black sheep, rather they are supported.

It is really a matter of thinking when a group makes helpless the administration of the institution to make their demands granted. On the other hand, when we see the situation, we come up with a conclusion that the politicians are not serious in investigating the matter rather they are busy in making statements against each other and shining their politics.

Actually they should find some measures to take against such evil forces which are violating the environment of the institution and creating a bad name for their party and causing creation of hatred in local masses against that party. It is the prime duty of those politicians holding very prominent offices but unaware of the problems faced by administration and ultimately the students.

If defining properly, politics can be named as worship. The worship offered for the welfare of poor masses, for those approachless people and for the pride of one's nation. I strongly believe in the quotation as one said,'political science is the mother of all sciences'.

my analysis on prevalent corruption in the country

It would not be taken as a gossip if I say that corruption is the root cause of poverty in the country. And I am sure many of the common people and analysts will agree with my statement. They will have to agree because you can't disagree with a vivid fact. Its on media that the former chairman of Pakistan Steel Mills has also been arrested by police from Karachi and has been handed over to FIA for interrogation.
Besides this, a very burning issue few days back, was taken seriously by political actors. In other words a campaign in order to label all politicians as corrupt as most of them are was initiated. A layman can understand that out of eight hundred plus cases only around forty were alleged then why do those so-called politicians not take interest in corruption committed by others. The number comprises three digits and no doubt includes mainly the politicians, ex-army men, diplomats etc.

It is still echoing in the country that judiciary has become free and has been restored. What thing matters here is whether it has really happened to its roots? Is it possible for poor and unapproachable people to get justice in due course of time? And many likewise questions are yet to be answered. It is vivid that an institution whose job is to provide justice to the victims and the corruption pervades in it how can common people expect justice from other state-run institutions? In nut shell, 'nearer the church, farther from god'.

Its Eid today...

I am back with my new post containing some fungamas on Eid day. Last time I went to shop some eatables for Eid day and as I said I can't sacrifice biryani (lolzzz...)

Having offered Namaz in the morning I left to my relatives' homes with papa. On every Eid we visit to our relatives. It took much time to return home. Then I went to meet my friends. Over there we made a lot of fun. Enjoyed songs on laptop along with playing luddo, had chaat and loki ka halwa. In the after noon, I came home. Do you know for what I came back???... No!!!?... If you want to know why I came home you can read the first few lines of my post that mention the matter I can't sacrifice for, (Of course its biryani lolzz..):-)

What I plan next is to have BAR-B-Q on roof. It will be a very wonderful event to enjoy with family. Furthermore, I don't want to write because I don't want to water anyone's mouth at all. Any way I will soon come with new lines of my experience.

Oooohhh... time table announced!!!

I was busy in study when I received an sms sent by one of my fiends. That sms was carrying the time table of my exams which are about to be held in near future. I am preparing hard. Infact time is short and work load is more.

Already I am lacking in time yet Eid is also on head. In such situation you can imagine what condition of a student can be if you have been ever so. Whenever I need some refreshment I come to my computer and start blogging. Or some times FarmVille on facebook. Some time I think would that the month of December disappear and suddenly the sun of first January rise, (lolzzz I am just kidding for many of my friends say this while making gossips).

Any way, this is all unreal and can't happen. So let's move towards study table and stick to the books. Ohh!! I still have to make some shopping for kitchen because tomorrow is Friday. If I do not go now, I shall have to sustain hunger on Eid day. I shall miss chicken biryani a lot, so I don't take risk and am going to shop.

I will come soon with a new post.

Sixth term exams are round the corner

Exams of sixth term are round the corner. These days I am enjoying the leave, not leave rather it is a period in which you have to install all your subjects into your mind, and this period is very short. This term is comparatively easier than the previous one. One subject named Steel Structure is little bit complex. But Insha Allah I shall manage to get through.

Today I spent many hours writing assignment of Environmental Engineering, still practicals are to be written. Then to be checked by the subject teacher. I am not finding words to explain how short the time and how long the course is. Any way, I have to do. What I want from you is prayers. So do pray for me. Insha Allah I will inform you whatever new happens to me.

Exam-phobia

Very few days are remaining, time table has also been published on the notice board, What to study and what not to study, Where to get start from, Which subject to start first... and many other questions like this are common when one is not prepared well for the coming exams.

I too possess the same feeling. But I am not so upset that I loose the race before it starts. I am working on my subject and has got the strategy of selected study. Gradually I am covering all my subjects. And as I am working I am sure that I will come up with flying colors.

In the last, do pray for me....

University life

University is a place of the highest level for getting education. A student of university has to face many hardships during university life. There are many effects of this most precious and career forming era on one's life. During university life one comes across various people of different nature and behaving in different manners, by which one learns how to separate right from the wrong.

It is obvious, the difference between the life of a student in university and the one leading a common life. In university he or she learns how to behave with different people and how to deal with different situations which is very helpful for one in character building. Nobody can disagree that there is a lot of difference between the two lives i.e. university life and a common life.

In fact the life in hostel teaches a student a great deal of experience to how to tackle the various circumstances and how to manage the time. No doubt, time management is and essential part of one's life. In a hostel every body has to do all tasks by himself, be it from washing cloths to academic work and dining. In nut shell, the effect of hostel life remains throughout on one's life and the experience got during hostel days helps him a lot in future.

As university is the highest institute for getting education. There are various advantages of university life in terms of academic approach, social activities, learning manners, character building and other countless benefits. While we talk about disadvantages, every community has black sheep that are, no doubt, a spoilt wound for that community. There are some students who spoil their lives in useless activities, such as intoxication, quarreling for nothing, addiction of drugs and so on, in this way they deviate from the aim they come for. As a result they emerge as professional robbers, deceivers and wicked persons. Therefore new comer students should adopt consciousness against such black sheep and should not mix with them.

Maturity, in my view, is not the matter of age, rather it includes the interaction with certain company, friendship, way of thinking and other aspects. Students of university, specially residing in hostels, have been found more mature. In university they have to face different situations which make them capable of making decisions and they become3 mature.

Healthy activities such as sports and other academic, social, cultural activities in fact develop confidence in students and train them for their future days to come. Each university should hold such events for improvement in the students who will illuminate the university in future.

The life in the university is the most precious and unforgettable period of one's life. The memories of those sweet as well as harsh days always remain intact. These are the days which teach a person the lesson of whole the life and leave such a mark which is always remembered.
